Brewery tour

A brewery tour is a fun and informative way to peek behind the scenes of some of the UK’s best breweries, discovering how local brands of beer are made and bottled and learning how the flavours differ depending on the process. You’ll have the chance to see it all in action and get up close to the enormous vats – which is where the magic happens! – before sampling the goods yourself. Some experiences also come with extras, such as a pub lunch or a gift bag with a selection of bottled beers included.

On the day, you’ll meet the brewer and the rest of your tour group before heading off to start the rounds. You’ll be shown the various pieces of mixing equipment and machinery used to produce different types of beer, and will also see the bottling and labelling facilities. Feel free to fire any questions at your guiding brewer as they will be more than happy to chat to you about their craft. Then it’s time to taste some of the different beers produced on-site. Most breweries also have an on-site shop where you can take home a few of your new-found favourites.
