You’re Never Too Young To Start Driving

Ferrari Supercar

Heard the one about kids driving supercars? No, really. This is a genuine opportunity that’s guaranteed to be the talk of the playground. Let your kids loose in a Lamborghini, watch them fire up a Ferrari or treat them to a thrilling rally-driving experience. With expert tuition from friendly professionals, this is the ultimate kids’ driving experience for budding Buttons or McRaes in the making. It’s an unbelievable experience that’s guaranteed to get a grin from here to eternity. But be warned – you’ll soon have a back-seat driver on your hands!

Supercars

There are a fantastic range of kids driving experiences available, from supercar thrills and rally tasters to splashing around in the mud in a 4×4. The young participant will get behind the wheel and drive with the help of a friendly, expert instructor, who will teach them everything they need to know and offer constant support to guide them around the track. Even those who have never driven before can still take part in these driving experiences. Talk about an unbeatable first driving lesson!

While most in-car tuition will be on a one-to-one basis, briefings are usually undertaken in groups and the vehicle will also be shared between a small number of other participants on a rotational basis.

No driving license? No problem! Forget driving schools and ‘L’ plates. Now you can take the short cut to stardom and drive a spectacular supercar in this unforgettable track experience. Will you choose the Lamborghini, the fabulous Ferrari, or perhaps the roaring Audi R8? Or why not ditch the asphalt and head off-road where you can tackle the terrain in a ready-for-anything 4×4, discover rally-style drifting, or try your hand at stunt driving with power slides and doughnuts? Turn your mates (and your parents) green with envy in this awesome experience that’s pure and simple fun.

Something to consider:

In this experience kids will ride in a supercar (perhaps a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 366, Audi R8, Aston Martin, or Porsche 997 Turbo) for a 10-15 minute driving thrill. Swap seats with the instructor as they show their young passengers how it's done with a high speed passenger ride. This takes place in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire, Norhamptonshire, and Surrey.

Young driver

What exactly is a young driver? Someone under 30? Yes. Under 20? Yes. Someone under the legal age to drive a car on the road? Surely not! But actually yes. A young driver is anyone between the ages of around 11 (13 for some experiences) to 16. Someone who can’t get their provisional licence, but who is desperate to get behind the wheel of a fabulous, fun, fierce beast of a car. Or any car, come to that. They just want to try driving, and get ahead when their lessons finally do come around.

A young driver experience day enables the lucky child to actually get into a real car and really drive it. They will be completely safe, as they will have an instructor with them at all times. The car is dual controlled too, so should something untoward happen, the instructor can take over. And lastly, your child won’t be driving on a road. No… They’ll be on a race track!

It all starts with a safety briefing, which takes place in the car itself. Once your child, and up to two others, are comfortable, their instructor will show them the basics of driving. Gears. Brakes. Acceleration. Turning. All the important things that mean they will be able to move this gorgeous car, even if they are a bit nervous about doing it.

Once they’ve learned all they need to know (for now), they will get the chance to drive themselves. However fast or slow they go, it doesn’t matter as long as they have control of the car and enjoy what they’re doing. Even if they have still got a few years to go until the magical 17, the skills they learn during this young drivers experience will stand them in good stead – they’ll be top of the class!

Food for thought:

Imagine their face as they discover a brand new, swanky automatic Jaguar XE is the first car that they learn to drive in. In this experience they will practise moving off, steering, navigating junctions, roundabouts, and will master parking, all on a specially designed replica road system. This takes place in Cheshire, Coventry, Gloucestershire, London, Oxfordshire, and Surrey.
